Aim : To study the effectiveness of an integrated intervention module comprising of Diet, Acupuncture and Yoga in young Indian giris suffering from Dysmenorrhoea. Objectives: To study the effect of Low fat vegetarian diet in dysmenorrhoea To study the effect of Acupuncture in management of pain. To study the effect of Yoga practice in intensity of dysmenonhoea. MATERIALS & METHODS Study Design : A randomized controlled clinical trial. Subjects : Unmarried obese female subjects between the age of 16 to 25 years with no pelvic pathology and a BMI more than 25. All the subjects were assessed for anxiety score and drug profile, as a screening procedure before including them for the study.
