Aim : To compare effects of Intravenous Iron Sucrose with Oral Iron in Iron Deficiecy Anaemia of Pregnancy. Material & methods :- Total 108 patients were treated by above methods . Haemoglobin % of all the pts was less than 9 gms,in between 5.5 - 9 gms.Total treatment was given for 4-6 mths.Oral dose was 100 mg Elemental fron;while Intravenous Iron Sucrose was 150 mg.,once a week, Results : Haemoglobin concentration increased significantly faster in the I.V.
