Objectives : 1. To note incidence and causes of antepartum hemorrhage 2. Maternal and Foetal outcome in APH Metnods : Prospective clinical study was conducted in Govemment Medical College, Nanded from Feb. 2008 to Aug 2008.100 consecutive cases of APH were evaluated as regards to age, parity, causes of APH, gestational age, maternal and foetal outcome. Results : Incidence of APH was 3.36%. Out of 3360 deliveries in this period 100 cases of APH were managed. Abruptio placenta (54%) was the commonest cause of APH, followed by Placenta Praevia and APH of undetermined origin. Mean age of patient was 23yrs. Mean gestational age at delivery was 34 weeks.
