Introduction : In India, out of 6.7 million induced abortion, every year 4 million are unsafe leading to death of almost 213 women per day and mostly from surgical methods. Medical abortion is a safe and effective non surgical method of abortion which is feasible with minimum technical assistance, less overall complication rate, more privacy, non invasive with no effect on future fertility. Objectives : 1. To Study the success rate of RU 486 and PGEj for medical abortion. 2. To study the side effect of RU 486 and PGE, 3. To study true failure rate of RU 486 and PGE, for medical abortion. 4. To study false failure rate of RU 486 and PGE, for medical abortion.
