Objective : To study and evaluate the use of Modified B - Lynch Brace suture in management of atonic postpartum hemorrhage. Method & Material : Prospective study of conservative surgical management of post partum hemorrhage over a period of 2yrs at LTMG Hospital (tertiary referral centre) Observation : •Total no. of atonic PPH cases undergoing surgical Rx : 40 •Total cases of conservative (medical + others) Rx : 25 •Uterine packing : 2 •Uterine artery ligation with Internal iliac ligation: 4 •Modified B Lynch sutures : 19 •Total no:of Obstetric Hysterectomies done for atonic PPH: 15 Results : •Conservative surgical management is effective in management of PPH in selected cases.
