Aims : To study the incidence, indications and risk factors for rc-surgery. Method : This is a retrospective study of 15 cases(1.07%)of re-surgeries out of total 139 obstetric primary surgery(LSCS, Rupture uterus and Obstetric Hysterectomy), carried out from Jan 2004 - August 2008 at PSMC; Shrec Krishna Hospital, Karamsad. During this period we had 4297 total deliveries. We required re-surgeries in 9 out of 1326 LSCS (0.82%), 2 out of 35 rupture uterus(5.7%) and 4 out of 30 obstetric hysterectomy (13%). Results : vMost of patient belong to low socioeconomic status (73%).Average age of patient was 27yrs. There were l\3rd cases of primipara and 2\3rd cases of multipara.
