Retrospective study of 100 cases of polyhydramnios admitted in Cama and Albless hospital From a period of Jan 2007 to September 2008.. Cases coming in antenatal clinic with either ultrasonography suggestive of polyhydramnios or clinically suspected for the same were considered. Results About 70% cases of polyhydamnios were idiopathic.Foetal causes of polyhydramnios majoritily included congenital abnormalities and multifoetal pregnancies.20% being congenital abnormality.
