Objectives : 1.To study the prevalence of Anaemia during pregnancy. 2.To study the presenting symptomatology, degrees and types of Anaemia 3.To assess the frequently oeeurring morbidity and mortality pattern associated. 4.To study the maternal and foetal outcome 5.To emphasize the role of Health education, ANC care in prevention of Anaemia and its complications. Methods : •A Retrospective study done using Hospital records of I year duration (June 2007 - 2008 June) in a tertiary care hospital, J. J. hospital, Mumbai. •Variables sueh as socio demographic factors. History, laboratory Investigations, treatment modalities used.
