A 21 years P2+O presented 20 days after FTNVD with history of fever and pain abdomen from 1st postnatal day and vamiting and hemetemesis for last 3 days. On examination, she had pallor and was febrile (102 F). Pulse-130/min. BP- 110/70, RR-16. Systemic exam -WNL. On per abdomen exam, soft distension+, Tenderness+ in hypogastrium, RIF, LIF, Bowel sounds sluggish, P/S, P/V and P/R exam WNL. Hb was 0 gm%., neutrophillia, widal +, EC swab-Staph, Peritoneal fluid-E coli, Plain X-ray abdomen- dilated gut loops with multiple air-fluid levels and USG-free fluid in abdomen. Pt was masaged conservatively on lines of puerperal sepsis with enteric fever with pertonitis with anaemia. Condition of pt.
