Objective : 1.To know the real incidence of eclampsia and the real causative factors responsible to eradicate the eclampsia. 2.Co-relation between time of refferal and termination of pregnancy and is effect on fetomaternal outcome. 3.Role of intensive care & team approach. 4.Public awareness programme. Mehtod : This is the prospective study of diagnosed eclampsia cases admitted in Dept. of obst & gynae. JNH Research Centre Bhilai from April 07 to March 08. Total No. of eclampsia patients admitted were 42. Mainstay of treatment being Magnesive Snlpate therapy. Intensive care and early termination of pregnancy.
