Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the isolated and associated effects of estrogen therapy (Transdermal patch 17 beta estradiol 1mg/day) and physical exercise (moderate walk, 3 hrs/week) on health-related quality of life (HRQOL) and menopausal symptoms among women who had undergone hysterectomy. Material & Method: Forty four postmenopausal women (mean age 50.9 +/- 6.3 years) who had undergone hysterectomy were recruited & randomized in 6 month duration for randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial.
