G3P1L1@ 36 weeks admitted with fever since 12 days associated with chills & rigors patient had temperature of 100°F. Icterus was present. Platelets was 1,1200. We suspected dengue/ malaria dengue IgM +, IgG midly + following day Hb dropped to 5.6, platelet 30,000 LDH 232. Patient was found to be malaria P. Vivax positive. Usg - showed hepatomegaly & Gross Spleenomegal) patient started on Injection falcigo & injection piptaz. 2 units packed cell were given lib increased to 8.2 platelets increased to 1 lakh. Gradually fever subsided. Patient went into spontaneous labour & delivered a live baby Septic work up done for the baby and was negative for all organisms.
