Intersex is a condition of abnormal sexual maturation resulting in abnormal karyotype or primary or secondary sexual characteristics. Diagnosis can be through ambiguous genitalia or abnormal characteristics in adolescent. Treatment chapter includes various diagnostic technique, timing & intervention, informing the patient etc. though it is very confusing & controversial. An unmarried fifteen year old girl complaining of primary amenorrhoea, gradual swelling of external genitalia & genitalia & hoarseness of voice examined in IPGME&R.
