Objective:-To evaluate the Transvaginal sacrospinous ligament fixation technique in (1) Treatment of vault prolapse in post hysterectomy patients. (2) As a part of vaginal repair procedure concomitant with vaginal hysterectomy for III degree utero-vaginal prolapse . Introduction:- Vaginal vault prolapse occurs in 0.2 43% of women .It occurs due to disruption of normal lateral attachments of the midvagina (level II supports) Materials & methods:-This is a retrospective study of 14 patients of which -12 had post hysterectomy vaginal vault prolapse - 2 had III degree utero vaginal prolapse. All underwent transvaginal sacrospinous ligament fixation with pelvic floor repair.
