Introduction : The last few decades have witnessed an unprecedented rise in the number of ectopic pregnancies. Since early diagnosis of an ectopic pregnancy before its rupture is generally standard care today, the focus of treatment has concentrated on reducing morbidity and restoring fertility potential. Objective: To study the efficacy of medical management with methotrexate and conservative laparoscopic surgery in the management of unruptured ectopic pregnancy and to compare the efficacy and clinical outcome and safety profile of both treatments.
