From the abstract

Objectives : To diagnose intrauterine causes of various gynaecological problems, to correlate between hysteroscopic and clinical findings, to treat the pathology hysteroscopically and to put the patient on treatment depending upon the diagnosis made by hysteroscope. Material and Methods : The present study was carried out on 100 patients between age group 18-60 years admitted in gynaecology ward of Rajindra Hospital, Patiala. Patients with menstrual irregularity, infertility and postmenopausal bleeding were included in this study. The hysteroscope used was a diagnostic 4mm rigid Karl Storz hysteroscope with a 30 oblique aperture view with a 5mm sheath.
