Objectives : Uptake rate of Spacing Methods is very low due to misconceptions about the methods and their true or imagined 'side effects'. It was our aim to fin(', out what misgivings people have about these methods sc sd to tailor IEC material accordingly. Methods : All the health workers under PHCs in the Wai Taluka vere interviewed to get their feedback about people percepations about the contracepative methods. Results : Responses were taburated Reasons for non use were studied Conclision: -We present a list of recommendations in view of our findings. •Training the staff with role-paly as the major component is needed.
