Objective: To determine the decision-to-delivery interval (DDI) for emergency caesarean sections and its correlation with perinatal outcome. Design: Six months prospective data collection of all emergency caesarean sections. Material and methods: This was a prospective observational study of all emergency caesarean sections in a tertiary care teaching hospital without the knowledge of the other clinicians providing clinical care.
