Objective:Active management of prolonged pregnancy to achieve healthy mother and baby Type of Study:Prospective study Methodology:All cases of prolonged pregnancies diagnosed were admitted for clinical evaluation, status of fetus by daily fetal kick count, USG modified BPP consist of NST,AFI, Doppler study L/S ratio. To plan the mode of termination of pregnancy by inducing labour at 41 -42 week of gestation is depending on Bishop's score and NST by Prostaglandin E2 gel, Oxytocin,Misoprostal.In failed cases by caesarean section. Evaluation of new born baby by APGAR score Results : Method of induction: 38.8% Cerviprime, 17.9%Misoprostal, 11.2% Oxytocin.
