Aims &objectives : To do an audit of caesarean section to determine I . Rate of caesarean section and compare it with the Set standard 2. To determine the main indications of caesarean Section', both elective and emergency 3. Contributing factors for the increased caesarean Section rate Material&methods : Study Design:A retrospective audit of caesarean section from Jan 2008 -June 2008 (6 months Setting: Obstetric unit, St Theresa's Hospital, Hyderabad Material:Analysis of case notes of caesarean deliveries during the study.
