Introduction: Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) is traumatic for the patient and challenging for the obstetrician. Recent evidence shows that more than one factor may be implicated in this situation. Aims and Objectives: To comprehensively investigate women with 2 consecutive pregnancy losses in a search for multiple etiologies. Material and Methods: 30 non-pregnant women with 2 pregnancy losses upto 20 weeks underwent detailed history taking, clinical examination and investigative work-up. This included hormonal analysis; serum TSH, prolactin, FSH, LH, progesterone and tests for thrombophilia; lupus anticoagulant, anticardiolipin antibody IgG/IgM, Factor V Leiden mutation, serum homocysteine.
