Aims And Objectives : 1.To determine if a discriminant value of 24-hour urine protein and or spot urine protein to creatinine ratio exists at antenatal diagnosis, that predicts subsequent maternal and foetal outcome. 2. To determine which of the two values of urine protein estimation (24-hour urine protein or urine protein to creatinine ratio) is a stronger predictor of maternal and foetal outcome. 3. Prediction of 24-hour urine protein excretion by spot (single voided) urine protein to creatinine ratio. Material & Methods : This study was conducted in Tata Main Hospital, Jamshedpur .This study was carried out from September 2006 to September 2007.
