AWE poses a diagnostic dilemma and has to be differentiated from abdominal wall tumors. We report two cases of rectus muscle and sheath endometriosis following caesarian section. Case 1: A 31 year old P2AoL2 with 2 previous caesarian sections reported with severe pain at a particular point at the centre of her scar line. A firm tender indurated mass 2"x 2" could be felt on deep palpation. Ultrasound showed a small hypoechoic mass within the rectus muscle. CT Scan confirmed focal thickening in the same area. Surgical removal of the endoinetriosis with muscle and sheath en bloc was done.
