Aims and Objective: 1.To investigate the outcome of management of clean abdominal incisional wounds by open or occlusive dressing from fourth day onwards till stitch removal in obstetrics and gynecological surgeries. 2.Comparision between occlusive vs open dressing of post operative clean abdominal incision wound from 4hday onwards in ohs & gynae surgeries. Patients and methods : this was a case control study undertaken in dept of obs & gynae, K.R. hospital gwl between period of I" aug 07 to 30th dec 07. Total 50 pts who were electively operated for obstetrical and gynecological indications were enrolled and randomly divided into two roups.
