Objective : To compare the efficacy of low dose MgsO regime with the standard Pritchard regime in treatment of 4 eclampsia. Material and Methods : •Place and period of study - GMH, SSMC Rewa from June 2006 to Sep. 2008. •Exclusive received any other anticomyulsants vWho received any other anticonyulsants vWith medical disorder known to cause convulsion vWith hospital stay <12 hrs. •Total 180 cases of eclampsia were divided into Group 1-90 cases who received low dose MgSO4 regime. Group II-90 cases who received pritchard regime. •Loading dose 4g MgSO4 slowly over 15-20 followed by 5g 1/M in each buttock given in both groups.
