Introduction: Meconium staining of amniotic fluid is a potentially ominous sign for fetal wellbeing. The primary concerns regarding MSAF have been its significance as a sign of fetal distress/ perinatal asphyxia and prevention of associated morbidity such as meconium aspiration syndrome Objective: The objective is to study the incidence and type of MSAF associated neonatal morbidity and maternal predisposing factor for MSAF Method: A retrospective study was performed to know the incidence of MSAF of total 1000 delivery in a tertiary hospital in Mumbai.
