Arterial embolization is a safe and effective conservative method to resolve postpartum haemorrhage. Fertility is also not impaired by this procedure. We report a case of 33year-old woman who was referred on 20th day postcaesarean with fever and excessive bleeding per vaginum. She was an overt diabetic with placenta in situ due to placenta accreta. She was managed initially with methotrexate; but due to recurrent episodes of bleeding, embolization, of the uterine arteries followed by dilatation and curettage was done.
