Objective: To study the overall incidence of nutritional problems in antenatal women after nutritional supplementation in second half pregnancy. Method: One hundred pregnant women aged 20-40 years at 16-36 weeks of gestation attending antenatal clinics in Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, M.Y. Hospital, Indore were enrolled and were divided into two equal groups of 50 each : (a) Study group and (b) Control group. Study group consists of women who were given nutritional supplementation (750 gm of bag) in the form of laddu powder for a period of 15 days and women were asked to follow-up every 15 days and were given the next supplementation till labour.
