Introduction: During the past 2 decades remarkably intimate knowledge of foetus along with technological deviation have prompted a new phenomenon in medicine: forecasts foetal health. The foetus is now a second patient who is at great risk of serious morbidity and mortality than the mother. The technological boundary for foetal assessment has even been extended to the embryonic period for example Oasin and colleagues(I 997) found that embryonic heart rates may be predictive of pregnancy outcome. The non stress test can identify the foetus in jeopardy in uterus. This enables an appropriate timely intervention to achieve most favourable outcome.
