Introduction: The crux of Obstetric management in a case of PPROM, is weighing the benefits of keeping the fetus in utero, to prolong the gestation versus the morbidity associated primarily due to infection by expectant management. Objectives: To assess the relation of abnormal leukocyte count in cases of PPROM, and incidence of maternal and perinatal complications. Methods: A retrospective review of pregnancies complicated with PPROM during twenty months period, at a tertiary centre was performed.
