From the abstract

Introduction : The incidence of twin and high- order multifetal pregnancies has significantly increased since introduction of assisted reproduction techniques. The delivery of a viable fetus with a long interval delay between deliveries is an unusual occurrence. The optimal management is not defined.Cerclage, tocolysis, hospitalization and antibiotic therapy are all controversial (2, 3). We report a case where the second twin was delivered after 130days after the expulsion of first twin. Case Report : A 30 year old woman presented in her second pregnancy with twins of 17 weeks gestation with one fetus hanging outside the vagina on 04/12/2007 in the OPD.
