Introduction: - Cervical incompetency, considered to be an important cause of fetal wastage in second trimester of pregnancy, leads to repeated reproductive loss. It is characterized by inability of cervix to retain a pregnancy in absence of uterine contraction.The diagnosis is made on the basis of history & clinical examination & ultrasound.The condition is treated by tightening the internal cervical os. Objectives:- !To study the results of cervical cerclage operation and fetal salvage rates in pregnant women with bad obstetric history for a period of 4 years from May 04 to May 08.
