Lignocaine with Adrenaline in Infraclavicular brachial Plexus Block for Upper Limb Surgeries. (A Prospective, Randomized, Placebo Controlled Trial) Dipal Shah, M. K. Arora, Anjan Tirkha, Ganga Prasad, Rani Sunder, P. P. Kotwal All India Institute of Medical Sciences Abstract Prolongation of brachial plexus blocks with addition of various drugs has been attempted in the past. Only clonidine appeared to have a distinct benefit as adjuvant. Our study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of clonidine and dexamethasone added as adjuvant to 1.5% lignocaine with 1:200,000 adrenaline in infraclavicular brachial plexus block.
