This appearance of chest wall deformity is known in medical term as: "Pectus Carinatum: or Keel Chest Deformity. 11 year old girl Shabanam slipped on her leg about two year back and sustained a blunt injury on the back of her chest wall (left side). Subsequently she started having recurrent cough, dyspnoea and chronic chest pain. After1 ½ year, pus and mucous discharging opening appeared on chest wall below the collar bone on right side with constant fever. Sterno-chondroplasty was done in which sternum, 7 pairs of costal cartilage and the granuloma were detached en mass, sparing 7 pairs of intercostals nerves, arteries and veins.
