From the abstract

Groundwater pollution is a dimensional hazardous movement. The increasing demand for water to meet the needs of domestic, industrial and agriculture is placing greater emphasis on the development of groundwater resources. The over-exploitation of groundwater resources at many developing countries induces degradation of groundwater quality and the discharge of untreated industrial effluents is adding contaminants to groundwater system. Globally, pollutions are identified as microbiological pollution, organic pollution, salinization, and total suspended solids.
