Introduction : Female genital tuberculosis presenting as large pelvic masses are often confused with malignant ovarian tumor and present both a diagnostic and therapeutic dilemma .We present a rare and unusual presentation of pelvic tuberculosis. Case-report : A 18 year old unmarried girl was admitted in the department of medicine with complaints of convulsions ,pain in abdomen ,high grade pyrexia from past 2 days .On examination a large pelvic mass was found. It was suspected to be a complex ovarian cyst with hemorrhage on sonography .Explorator Laprotomy with right sided salpingo-oopherectomy was done. On Histology and staining ,tuberculosis was confirmed for which ATT was given.
