Objective : To study and evaluate the use of Modified B - Lynch Brace suture in management of atonic postpartum hemorrhage. Method & Material : Prospective study of conservative surgical management of post partum hemorrhage over a period of 2yrs at LTMG Hospital (tertiary referral centre) Observation : ā¢Total no. of atonic PPH cases undergoing surgical Rx : 40 ā¢Total cases of conservative (medical + others) Rx : 25 ā¢Uterine packing : 2 ā¢Uterine artery ligation with Internal iliac ligation: 4 ā¢Modified B Lynch sutures : 19 ā¢Total no:of Obstetric Hysterectomies done for atonic PPH: 15 Results : ā¢Conservative surgical management is effective in management of PPH in selected cases.
