Intrathecal Buprenorphine for Post Operative Analgesia after Caesarean Section" Presenting Author: Dr.Sarita Katiyara Institution: Pt. J.N.M. Medical College, Raipur (C.G) Co-Authors: Dr.K.P Dubey(Prof.& HOD) Dr.Jaya Lalwani(Asst. Prof). AIM: To compare intrathecal bupivacaine(0.5%) and buprenorphine (60µg) with bupivacaine (0.5%) for postoperative analgesia after Caesarean section. METHOD:60 ASA grade I/II parturients scheduled for elective lower segment caesarean section were randomly selected and divided into two groups of 30 each. Group A received 1.7ml bupivacaine heavy (0.5%) and Group B received 1.7ml bupivacaine heavy (0.5%) + 0.2ml buprenorphine(60µg)intrathecally.
