Myasthenia Gravis is the most common disorder affecting neuro-muscular junction. It is an acquired, autoimmune disorder characterized by decreased number of nicotinic Ach receptors in the post-synaptic membrane resulting in progressive weakness, easy fatigability, diplopia and even ventilatory failure in severe cases. It runs a variable course during pregnancy which makes the peri- operative care challenging for the anaesthesiologists. We report the case of a 28 year old primigravida with generalized Myasthenia Gravis diagnosed seven years back. The patient had positive anti Ach R antibodies and edrophonium test.
