Aim : To find out the pregnancy rate after laparoscopy in women with unexplained infertility, who had undergone controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) and IUI (intra-uterine insemination). Methods : Retrospective study was done on 100 women with unexplained infertility, who had undergone laparoscopy for evaluation of pelvis after 3 -4 cycles of IUI, when no pregnancy was achieved. The women had undergone IUI after confirming tubal patency and ovulation. Women with polycystic ovaries were given insulin sensitizers. Ultrasound scan showed an apparently normal pelvis.
