Objectives : To Evaluate endometrial and perifollicular vascularity by transvaginal power Doppler in predicting success of intrauterine insemination. Methods : Forty-four patients undergoing 60 IUI cycles were recruited for the study. Ovulation was induced with Clomiphene citrate given 100/150mg/day from day 3 to day 7. Using Transvaginal sonography with power Doppler Endometrial thickness, pattern and vascularity, along with number and size of dominant follicles and perifollicular vascularity, were documented, once follicle reached a diameter of £14 mm and serially followed till the ovulatory trigger with hCG and on the day of IUI, which was performed 36 hours later.
