From the abstract
Objective : To study the clinical course & management of septic abortion with special reference to acute renal failure (ARF) as a preventable complication in a tertiary health centre. Materials And Methods : A retrospective study was conducted which included all diagnosed cases of septic abortion admitted to VSSMC hospital during the period from April 2006 to April 2008.An attempt was made to formulate the protocol in management of ARF in septic abortion along with studying the awareness among people regarding various unmet needs of contraception.
