Objective: To assess the effectiveness and complication of TOT repair using simple prolene mesh and Shirodkars needle fOR Tt of SUL Materials & Methods: This is a retrospective study of 16 patients who underwent the procedure of TOT repair using prolene mesh & Shirodkar's needle for treatment of SUI at Nowrosje'e Wadia Maternity Hospital in a time span of two yrs (2006-2008). These pts were given pragmatic trial whereby pre-op they were graded on Incontinence Severity Index -(ICI) and Urogenital Distress Inventory (UDI 6) by asking questionnaire. In obese pts Shirodkars sling needle was used & for thin patients Shirodkars encirclage needle was used.
