Objectives: to find out correlation between persistence of uterine artery notch and development of intrauterine growth restriction and pregnancy induced hypertension and to see whether color Doppler assessment can help in identification of high risk pregnancies so that we can modify the maternal and Perinatal outcome by timely interventions.. Methods: seventy antenatal cases between 24 to 36 weeks who were attending obstetrics and gynecology department divided into high risk group (45) and low risk (25) underwent Doppler evaluation; they were followed and outcome noted. Results: 30 out of 45 in high risk group and 5 out of 25 in low risk group showed persistence of bilateral notch.
