Aims and Objectives : To introduce Gynaecologist to newer system of pelvic organ prolapse quantification system. Introduction : Traditionally the severity of female geital prolapse is assessed by one of the older system. POPQ is new system developed by International Continence Society for standardization of Terminology for female pelvic organ prolapse. It's advantages are 1) It is accurate as it can be expressed in centimeters, 2) Results are reprodticible which avoids inter & intraobserver variability, 3) operative results can be compared, 4) operative outcome can be measured quantitatively.
