Objective : To find out the correlation between Pulsatility index(PI) and Pregnancy induced Hyper tension (PlH)and Intra Uterine growth retardation(IUGR) and see if the Doppler assessment can help identify high risk pregnancies. Method : 60 women ,51 Primi paras and 9 High Risk Pregnancies underwent Doppler evaluation under 24 weeks of gestation. In each of the women PI and Notches were observed and recorded Results : Patients with High PI had more IUGR and PiH as compared to the ones with low PI.The results revealed two (4.3%) who had low PI had both IUGR and PIH as compared to the High PI, where four (33.33%) were high on PIH and IUGR.Even notches were observed and it was seen that…
