From the abstract
Objective : To know the psychological status of HIV patients, when they are not breastfeeding their child. Material and Methods : The study was conducted at M.Y. Hospital, Indore from August 2006 to February 2008. All HIV positive mothers who enrolled during the period were included in the study. A written consent was obtained and the level of depression was noted using Beck's depression inventory. Results : Of the 39 HIV positive cases, there occurred a PNM of 15.
