Cholelithiasis is being reported with increasing frequency in the pediatric age group. The natural history of cholelithiasis in children still remains unclear. We have treated two patients of gall stone disease of ages 2 and 3 years respectively. Both patients, presented with recurrent right upper abdominal pain and ultrasonography revealed multiple gall stones in the gall bladder in both cases. Rest of the findings were normal. Anaesthesia was induced and the airway was secured with endotracheal tube. Open cholecystectomy was done in both cases. Both patients had uneventful recovery and there was no complication in the follow-up ranging from 6 months to 1 year.
