Objective : Surgical abortion is a blind procedure . Though it is a minor procedure but some time have serious complications which are to be answer in this era of medicolegal cases . In this protocol our objective was to minimise the complications as low as possible, discomfort to patient and side effects of the procedure. We studied the effectiveness of sonoguided dilatation and sunction curettage(D&SC) in early pregnancies (upto 14 gestational weeks), combining with intramuscular carboprost and/or intravaginal misoprost. Method : 167 women seeking surgical abortion had gastationl size upto 14 weeks were studied . Both live and missed abortions were included .
