Objectives : The introduction of aquadissection supplementation into the technique of non descent vaginal hysterectomy has made surgical dissection easier and safer and intraoperative blood toss is also minimized. In this study we have compared the intraoperative and post operative morbidity in patients undergoing non descent vaginal hysterectomy in terms of operative time, blood loss, complication rates, post operative pain and post operative recovery. Methods : The study was conducted over a period of two years from Jan 2006 to Dec 2007 in the Deptt. of Obst. & Gynae, S.N.Medical College, Agra.
